체스의 여왕은 우간다의 체스 신동 피오나 무테시를 다룬 영화입니다. 실제 우간다의 빈민가에서 있었던 기적 같은 실화를 바탕으로 한 이야기입니다.

tedo는 본 작품의 국내 포스터와 한글 타이틀 디자인을 진행했습니다. 원작 포스터의 레이아웃을 기반으로 하되, 극장 VOD로 출시되는 상황을 고려하여 한글 타이틀을 크게 배치하고 포스터 전체에 옐로우 계열의 컬러감을 입혀 집중도를 높이는 방향으로 작업했습니다.

Queen of Katwe tells the inspiring true story of Fiona Mutesi, a chess prodigy from the slums of Uganda. For this film, tedo™ designed the Korean poster and title. Using the original layout as a foundation, we gave prominence to the Korean title, optimizing the design for VOD platforms. A warm yellow tone was applied across the poster to draw focus and create an inviting atmosphere.
